A Factory Reborn
From Cables to Contemporary Living
Your apartment sits within one of Turin's most remarkable examples of industrial heritage reimagined. The Ex-CEAT complex on Corso Regio Parco was originally home to CEAT — Cavi Elettrici e Affini Torino, a cable manufacturing company founded in 1925 by Virginio Bruni Tedeschi. For decades, the factory was part of the industrial powerhouse that defined Turin as Italy's manufacturing capital.
When production ceased, the building was given extraordinary new life. In 2007, architects Vittorio Neirotti (Studio Neirotti) and Studio Rolla carried out a visionary conversion, preserving the reinforced concrete structure of the original factory while creating 60 unique loft apartments and 12 striking "urban villas" on the rooftop — a nod to the dormers that define classic Turinese architecture.
The internal buildings were demolished to reveal a stunning 3,000 m² courtyard garden, now lush with greenery and visible from your apartment. The result is an oasis of calm hidden behind the building's industrial facade.
Premio Architetture Rivelate 2009
The entire Ex-CEAT conversion was honored with the prestigious Revealed Architectures Award, presented by Turin's Order of Architects in recognition of outstanding architectural merit and the building's contribution to the city's urban renewal. The complex has also been featured in Open House Torino, the international architecture festival that opens Turin's most notable buildings to the public.
